05 Financial Services Corporate Standards - In Progress
A branch office and corporate design standards package for a financial services company with a six-generation legacy. They are looking to grow their Golden Rule ethos into the seventh generation and beyond.
Out of this client's 130 years of humble, others-focused growth, we took inspration from the optimistic leap between the 60's to the 80's. This was a season when the roots grew wide and more and more great people with what the then CEO called "it" joined and worked together, laying the foundation for what the company is today. This was a period of unvarnished goodwill, quiet achievement, and economical midwestern modernism. The kind with too much precast exposed aggregate concrete and tan. The design standards grew from this spirit. Put another way, this was a season where big producers silently gave unfathomable sums to others in need and were back at the office the next morning in a Jos. Bank suit.
This is not a modern outfit. Nor is it a style for a new generation. Rather, it's a loving conversation between those before, those here now, and those yet to be born. Which is a sensibility, a twist on the firm's value statement: Investments In Generations.
The design is legacy. Refreshed.
